The Gold Team fell short in their second game of the weekend with an unfortunate 1-3 loss in a physical match with Fury FC.
While the team had numerous chances in attack, the goals just wouldn’t fall for Gold in the final third.
The single goal scored was a curling first time finish from Armon Varmeziar after being found by Jordan Richardson’s through ball into the box.
The Gold Team still remain in contention for league promotion but will need strong results in their final games against AFC Clayton and HCU Elite in the coming weeks.
