The White Team rebounded this afternoon with a strong performance against UNF, scoring once in each half. The final score ended 2-0 to Georgia Tech, but it certainly could've been more.
Will Anong opened the scoring in the first half with a close range tap-in. Jordan Richardson provided the assist after dribbling past his man and passing to Anong for the finish inside the six. (1-0)
Sam Beagle doubled the scoring after Oskar Bringle pressed the UNF goalkeeper into a giveaway high up the pitch. After prizing the ball away and showing good footwork to escape the onrushing goalkeeper, Bringle provided the short pass to Beagle to score on the empty net. (2-0)
The White Team takes on UCF later tonight in a must-win game to keep hopes for the knockout stages alive.
