The White Team took on the division leaders, Clemson, this morning, and claimed a crucial win at home. The White Team put in their best performance of the season with a 5-0 win to show for it.

Striker, Evan Zappa, fired home from close range after Jordan Richardson beat his man out wide and found Zappa inside the 18-yard box to open the scoring. (1-0)

Fellow striker, Zane Stokesberry, doubled the advantage after heading Ethan Michel's whipped cross into the back of the net from inside the 6-yard box. (2-0)

Early in the second half, Sam Beagle, on his debut, tapped-in from close range to extend the lead to three. Evan Zappa provided the cross that led to the goal. (3-0)

Nearing the end of the game, midfielder, Kieran Ferguson, provided two assists to pile on the goals. The first was to Zappa who cleverly chipped his shot past the outstretched goalkeeper, bringing the score to 4-0. The second landed at the feet of Michel who slotted home comfortably from close range to seal a 5-0 shutout.

The White Team look to build on today's performance and bring a similar level to Athens, Georgia where they will face UGA next Friday in a must-win rivalry match.
