White Team Fall Short Against USF

The White Team fell short of qualifying for the knockout stages of the UF tournament after suffering a 2-4 defeat to USF.

Striker, Michael Sullivan found the bottom corner nicely with a composed finish after Jordan Richardson spotted Sullivan’s run into the box.

Later in the half, freshman, Zane Stokesberry put one past the keeper after showing great desire and skill to win the ball in the opposing half and create his own shot for the second goal.

Unfortunately, the two goals weren’t enough as the weekend ended abruptly for the young team. The White Team will look to respond with a win against Mercer next weekend.
