White Team Beats UCF 1-0

The White Team defeated the University of Central Florida last Saturday night in a 1-0 shutout. Despite it being their third match of the day, the team put together one of their most impressive performances of the year and earned a victory as a result. That said, due to goal differential within their group, the team failed to advance to the knockout stages with only one goal separating them and the teams who advanced.

Freshman, Oskar Bringle, provided the winning goal after working well with Nick Green throughout midfield. The pair combined for a series of passes before Bringle spun quickly and found the lower left corner from just outside the box. (1-0)

Later in the match, Jared McCall saved a UCF penalty kick to maintain the team's clean sheet. A fine save to the keeper's left side.

The club returns home from Florida with two wins and a loss in the UF tournament but will look to carry their recent form to Clemson in the coming weekend.
