White Team Rolls Past UCF 3-0

The White Team took on the University of Central Florida this afternoon and replicated their high scoring efficiency from the morning match, securing another 3-0 shutout.

The first half ended goalless, however, in the opening stages of the second half, Jordan Richardson crossed into the box where Owen Ribes finished expertly into the bottom corner with his left foot for 1-0.

The second goal came when Richardson cut inside from the right flank, passed to midfielder, Jack Fitton, and received his return ball into the penalty area where Richardson finished bottom corner with the outside of his foot (2-0).

Finally, the third goal came from Robert Pierrard’s pinpoint accurate shot on goal. After holding the ball up and connecting play with the midfield, the sophomore striker found space at the 18-yard box and capped off the game at 3-0 with a sweet strike.

The back line and defensive midfielders worked tirelessly during the match, securing their second clean sheet of the day.

Tomorrow, the White Team goes into a semi-final against Emory University where another win will take them to the championship match.
