White Team Roll Past UNG in 9-2 Win
The White Team enjoyed their shooting opportunities in tonight's 9-2 win over the University of North Georgia. Playing with freedom and fluidity in the attack, the goals followed naturally, scoring 9 times.
Josh Hoeft had himself a fantastic night out, netting three times for his hat trick. Two skillful dribbles in the box for two, and a simple tap-in for the third.
Ali Talaksi opened the scoring early in the first half with a wonderful curling effort from a free kick. The effort found the top right corner perfectly and broke the deadlock. His second came from a nice tap-in created by Jordan Richardson's shot on target after a skillful dribbling run.
Jordan Richardson had two goals on the night, one, a simple one-on-one finish from Trevor Hyman's perfectly weighted through ball, another, a simple tap-in from Hyman once again.
Yanni Angelides finished off Richardson's cut back for his goal while Reed Blevins' first time effort curled brilliantly into the top corner to total up 9 goals on the night.
The White Team will be back in action the following weekend where they're scheduled to play Emory University away.
