White Team Scrape Past GSU 3-2

The White Team came out on top in a five-goal thriller versus Georgia State University in their second game of the day. The win secures a spot in the semi-final game tomorrow, April 7th.

Ali Talaksi scored the opening goal with a brilliant drive down the left flank, beating his man, and then providing a classy, curling finish for 1-0.

Jonathan Leo met Talaksi's cross for the White Team's second goal as he tapped in to give us the lead once again, 2-1.

Finally, in the dying minutes of the match, Jordan Richardson robbed the opposing left back of the ball in the final third, held off the defender, and slotted underneath the goalkeeper to win the game, making it 3-2.

As previously mentioned, the White Team are on to the semi-final match tomorrow and will likely face either Virginia Tech or the University of Georgia. Winning the upcoming semi-final would lead them to the championship match later that same day, April 7th.
