Gold Team Win 4-1 Over Relegators FC

The Gold Team put on a fine display of finishing in their 4-1 win over title competitors, Relegators FC.

While the team played well in the attacking phases, the defensive back line, as well as our two goalkeepers, came up big when they needed it most. Seth Daly, Brice Diomande, Mason Stoever, Justin Pisarski, Aidan Jones, and Taylor Smith all made major contributions to shutting down the league's top scorer and the rest of their attacking front.

As for going forward, Ricky Husemann and Jordan Richardson both recorded two goals a piece.

Husemann slotting home nicely one-on-one against the keeper from Richardson's assist, and then later scoring an absolutely perfect curling effort from 20+ yards into the top right corner.

Jordan Richardson extended his consecutive game scoring streak to 6 games after chipping from 8 yards into the bottom corner from Jonathan Leo's assist. Then later driving one into the top left corner from outside the box.

The Gold Team worked extremely hard and continue to remain locked in to achieve promotion this season.

Both the Gold and White teams are scheduled with games this next weekend with White traveling to Kennesaw State on Saturday, and Gold taking on title competitors, Fury FC, next Sunday. Two huge games that the club can't wait to play.
