White Team Shutout GSU in 6-0 Win


The White Team brought out their finishing boots for tonights home opener and put on an absolute show of a performance against Georgia State University.

The first half was filled with numerous chances on goal but ended 0-0. The second half, however, got off to a quick start with Seth Daly heading from a corner, Jack Fitton slotting home from 10 yards, and Jose Lopez firing from close range. All taking place within 15 minutes.

The game continued to open up as Josh Hoeft got on the end of a fantastic cross from Cody Schoenfuss and Jordan Richardson struck first time from the 18-yard box, extending his consecutive scoring streak to 5 games.

Ricky Husemann closed the scoring with a fantastic volley from well outside the box that found its way to the corner, concluding a fantastic showing of attacking, and defending for that matter, as the back line secured the clean sheet.

The White Team will be back in action away against Kennesaw State on March 9th.
