Gold Team Win 6-0 Over AFC Clayton

The Gold Team were in fine shooting form in this morning's match against AFC Clayton. With 5 goals being scored in the first half, the team was on cruise control to another clean sheet and victory. Nick Rath, back from injury and starting up front, put on a masterclass of finishing, scoring 5 of the 6 goals with his favorite right foot. From tap-ins to finishing with the laces, attacking midfielder Jordan Richardson and striker, Nick Rath, continued to link up for goal scoring opportunities. Richardson recording 3 of the assists. Gold Team to Face AFC Clayton

The Gold Team return from Spring Break to play AFC Clayton in their second to last game of the season. The match will be played at South Atlanta High School and kicks off at 11am this upcoming Sunday. The following are rostered: Nick Rath, Jonathan Leo, Yanni Angelides, Armon Varmeziar, Jose Lopez, Jordan Richardson, Cody Schoenfuss, Justin Pisarski, Seth Daly, Giancarlo Riccobono, Brice Diomande, Jon Spearman, Mason Stoever, Aidan Jones, Taylor Smith, and Omar Ahmed.

Gold Team 1-3 Fury FC

The Gold Team fell short in their second game of the weekend with an unfortunate 1-3 loss in a physical match with Fury FC. While the team had numerous chances in attack, the goals just wouldn’t fall for Gold in the final third. The single goal scored was a curling first time finish from Armon Varmeziar after being found by Jordan Richardson’s through ball into the box. The Gold Team still remain in contention for league promotion but will need strong results in their final games against AFC Clayton and HCU Elite in the coming weeks.

White Team Win 3-1 at KSU

The White Team put on a fine display against Kennesaw State University this Saturday afternoon as they netted three times in their 3-1 win. Even with frequent rotation in the lineup due to the upcoming match tomorrow (Sunday, March, 10), as well as team injuries, the White Team maintained a high level of soccer. Jonathan Leo opened the scoring early in the first half after Jordan Richardson won the ball from the opposing midfielder and slotted Leo through where he found the corner nicely. Before the end of the first half, Armon Varmeziar found himself fouled inside the 18-yard box, leading to a fine penalty kick from Makram Chahine for 2-0. Gold Team Roster vs. Fury FC

The Gold Team have an important fixture against the current league leaders, Fury FC, that, with the right results, can shake up the table and boost the Gold Team's chances of promotion this season. The game kicks off at 11am away from home this upcoming Sunday. The White Team play Kennesaw State University this Saturday and look to continue their early season form. The game kicks off at 3pm away at Kennesaw State University. Gold Team Win 4-1 Over Relegators FC

The Gold Team put on a fine display of finishing in their 4-1 win over title competitors, Relegators FC. While the team played well in the attacking phases, the defensive back line, as well as our two goalkeepers, came up big when they needed it most. Seth Daly, Brice Diomande, Mason Stoever, Justin Pisarski, Aidan Jones, and Taylor Smith all made major contributions to shutting down the league's top scorer and the rest of their attacking front. As for going forward, Ricky Husemann and Jordan Richardson both recorded two goals a piece.
